The festival is scheduled to take place from November 7 to November 14 in the Polish city of Toruń. This event marks the 34th iteration of the festival, which is renowned for presenting the Golden Frog award to recognize outstanding achievements in cinematography.

The core of the event is the main competition, which consists of fifteen films. These entries were chosen specifically for their significant contributions to visual storytelling and their overall impact on the cinematic experience. The lineup includes several high-profile productions directed by well-known figures in the film industry. Among them is Project Hail Mary, which is directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller. The visual style of this film is the work of cinematographer Greig Fraser.

Another notable entry in the competition is Disclosure Day, a project directed by Steven Spielberg. This film features cinematography by Janusz Kamiński, marking another significant collaboration between the two filmmakers. The competition also includes Wild Horse Nine, directed by Martin McDonagh. The visual elements of this title were handled by Ben Davis, adding to the diversity of the directors and cinematographers represented in the main slate.

The main competition further highlights a range of other significant releases. Tony Gilroy’s Behemoth! is included in the selection, with photography by Damián García. Russian director Andrey Zvyagintsev is represented by his latest film, Minotaur. This project features cinematography by Mikhail Krichman, who is a longtime collaborator with Zvyagintsev. Additionally, the lineup features Woman Unknown, directed by May el-Toukhy. This film won at the Venice Film Festival and was shot by cinematographer Jasper J. Spanning.

Also featured in the special screenings is Possible Love, an international award contender from Netflix. The film is directed by Lee Chang-dong and shot by Kim Ji-yong.

The documentary program highlights the work of Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor, who co-directed the film NAZA. Rachel Szor also served as the cinematographer for this project. The film received a Special Jury prize at the Venice Film Festival, adding to its prestige within the festival lineup.

Camerimage continues to serve as a dedicated platform for the artistic contributions of cinematographers. Now in its 34th year, the event brings together directors of photography and filmmakers to discuss and celebrate the technical and artistic craft behind the creation of moving images. The festival aims to highlight the essential role that visual design plays in the broader narrative of cinema.
