Marriott Bonvoy has brought in some of the NFL's best-known figures to help fans plan trips around the league's games. The hotel company has recruited current players and retired stars to build travel guides to their home cities.
Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Cooper Kupp is featured for Seattle, and Eagles offensive lineman Jordan Mailata for Philadelphia. NFL legend Jerry Rice covers Mexico City, while former running backs Todd Gurley and Mark Ingram II handle Melbourne and Rio de Janeiro. Each athlete offers picks for restaurants, local attractions and lesser-known spots.
So far, Marriott has released 37 player-curated guides. Together they cover every domestic and international market that hosts an NFL game during the 2026 season. Social media artist Jeff Cole, known for sports-inspired digital artwork, designed the guides, which pair the players' personal tips with illustrated city maps.
The company has also launched a 10-episode content series that follows select players through their home destinations. Participating hotels will offer related experiences throughout the season, and in select markets fans can book packages that bundle NFL tickets, accommodations and local activities.
Some of those offerings will run through Marriott Bonvoy Moments, the loyalty platform that lets members redeem points for exclusive events. Its 2026-27 NFL lineup includes packages tied to games involving the Ravens, Washington Commanders and 49ers, as well as international matchups in cities such as Paris, Madrid and Munich. More Super Bowl packages are expected in late November.
The campaign also brings back the Super Bowl Sleepover Suite. One winner will spend the night before Super Bowl LXI in a luxury suite converted into a hotel room at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. The sweepstakes runs through Dec. 15.
The effort falls under Marriott Bonvoy's "Where Gameday Checks In" marketing platform, which presents its hotels as a base for traveling football fans. The company has additionally introduced an advertising campaign called "Long-Distance NFL Relationships," aimed at fans who keep their team loyalties while living far from their home markets.
The timing reflects the league's biggest international push to date. This season includes a record nine games across seven countries and four continents. League owners have approved raising the number of international games to 10 starting in 2027, and commissioner Roger Goodell has floated an eventual expansion to 16 games per season.
The international slate began in September with the NFL's first regular-season game in Australia, in which the San Francisco 49ers faced the Los Angeles Rams at Melbourne Cricket Ground. The Dallas Cowboys and Baltimore Ravens then played at Rio de Janeiro's Maracanã Stadium. Paris made its NFL debut on Oct. 25, when the Pittsburgh Steelers met the New Orleans Saints at Stade de France, and London hosted three games earlier this month. Further games are set for Madrid, Munich and Mexico City through November.
All 37 guides are available through Marriott Bonvoy's NFL Travel Hub. Fans can also browse game-day packages there, redeem loyalty points for experiences and enter the Super Bowl Sleepover Suite sweepstakes.
